I started from MG Road, Gurgaon for Taj Mahal. I got the Metro and reached Delhi Railway Station in 1 hour. Put a few inquiries and got that 3 trains go towards Agra daily. Boarded the Delhi-Lucknow train and a reached Tundla, a major Railway Station near Agra. I boarded a local bus to Agra and reached Agra station at 2 hrs. With Google Maps, I somehow reached near a garden. Yes, no vehicles are allowed ahead of the Garden. You have to walk like half a kilometer through the Garden and you will get the first glimpse of the Main Gate of Taj. The ticket counters nearing to the closing time, I managed to get a Ticket for me. After the usual security checks, I was free to roam.
I had been to the Gol Gumbaz of Bijapur, Karnataka and wasn't surprised by the Main Gate and the surrounding structures. Before moving ahead towards Taj, I went to a fort opposite to Taj where remains found in Taj are preserved. After the small museum visit, I was ready for the big Surprise.
I stepped towards the Taj and were other people too. The Main Door of Taj forms a bottleneck and you need to be careful. So I entered the Main Door and I was jaw-fallen. The Taj enlightened me with the true power of LOVE. I had never seen such a good piece of art with such mega-size. From the Main Door, people entering the Taj seemed like ants. I moved ahead and got some beautiful photos.
It was an amazing trip.
