A city tour in Delhi. Took a room for a day to keep our luggage. We were 12 in number... And we roamed around in the city on rented can. The food from Karim's was so delicious but a little costly.
To the Himalayas. Boarded an A/C volvo from Delhi to Manali in the night... it took around 14hrs. It was raining when we reached Manali. We got checked in to an oyo hotel. The same day we rented motor bikes to explore Manali and Kasol. It costed around 500 per bike per day. after food we went to Solang valley and it was heavy snowfall then. On our return we took some good rest as we had to start earlier the next day for Kasol.
Kasol...the land of ultimate serenity. Though we wanted to start early for Kasol...we all slept off. We couldn't make it to Kasol that day...so we took a detour to Malana village. On mid way of the trek it started to snow and by the time we reached the village it was covered with snow and we couldn't trek back a it was evening already. So we stayed in Malana but it was around -5°C that night and we struggled a lot to cope up. We stayed at a home stay there. It was quite good. We parked our bikes at the entrance to the trek at shop there at cost of ₹100 per bike and the sty and food cost around ₹400per head. The next day morning it was stil snowing and we had to trek back before it got worse. So we started our trek back with few dogs as our guides. We then rode to Kasol from where we had lunch and spent some leisure time there. The same day we returned to Manali. After a little shopping we boarded bus to Shimla
To Shimla the queen of Himalayas. Reached Shimla by 6am in the morning. After breakfast we went to Kufri and had some fun there. In the evening we set off to Kalka on a local bus, to do the Toy train ridebfrom Kalka to Shimla. You can get local buses from Shimla to Kalka from The New ISBT,Shimla and ticket costs around₹80 per head. It took 3hrs to reach Kalka. From there it was a 5hrs journey back to Shimla. They provide free sandwiches and coffee on the go. By noon we reached Shimla where we did a city tour through the stylish Mall Road. In the evening we boarded our bus to Dehradun
