Day 1

We started from Hyderabad by Indigo flight in the morning @5.20 AM and reached Madurai Airport. Took a self driven car and visited Madura Meenakshi Amma temple. Madura Meenakshi temple was built by King Kulasekara Pandya (1190-1216 CE). The temple is a major pilgrimage destination within the Shaivism tradition, dedicated to Meenakshi Devi and Shiva. Goddess Meenakshi Amma is very beautiful and had a proper darshan from garba gudi... It is known as one of the Sakthipeetam.

After the darshan, we checked into hotel and took some rest and started to Palani Subramanya Swami temple.. One of the Murgan Swayambhu, the temple is very crowded and couldn't take the rope way as there are lot of people waiting in queue. We took 700 steps and reached top of the hill for darshan. We reached the temple by 7.15 pm at time of aarthi Had some fun by having a ride on a horse cart... Both the temples are very beautiful and a must visit... By 10 pm we reached back hotel and had a great sleep😴 Food is okay okay.. Someone who is looking for rice will have a tough time... But the city has its beauty both in food and look 🥰

Day 2

Early morning started to Rameshwaram.. Though the car speed limit is set to 80 kmph.. we were able to make it on time as the roads are good... Beautiful greenery around and few lakes around when traveling made our day... We got down the car and took few pics on the Pamban Bridge.. it is a Mesmerizing view. Reached Rameswaram and took bath in the 22 auspicious wells and went for Shivji darshan.. After darshan had a quick lunch and moved to Danushkodi.. the last land of India. From the parking lot, we had to walk around 7 kms to view the sceneric beauty of  land covered all 3 corners with water... Unfortunately we could make only half way and returned back as it was very tiresome. There is no means of transport to reach to the last point and to wonder Danushkodi still doesn't have proper power supply and runs on Solar. In between we rode ATV and had some fun at the beach.. Water is very clean and clear in blues.. Loved it 😘  On the way we took few more pics on Pamban Bridge, the sunset view is awesome 👌  On the way we saw the APJ Abdul Kalam memorial in Rameswaram.

Started back to Madurai and gave the car back and those guys dropped us at the Bus station for us to catch a bus to Pondicherry...

Day 3

Reached Pondicherry and checked into Le Bliss hotel which is near to Rock Beach. Had a great sleep and in the evening we took Vespa on rent and visited the famous Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple. One of the memorable moment is feeding the elephant and taking its blessings..my husband captured the moment in his phone and it is superb 👌Later, we went to the Rock beach.. the beach had high tides and couldn't get into water. Enjoyed the view and took few pics and took a ride towards the French colony and did some shopping before going back to hotel. There are beautiful beach view restaurants with good ambience and food. We dined at the Orange Restrobar. Prices of the food and liquor are reasonable.

Day 4

We woke up very late and took Bullet for rent and went to Paradise beach... Around 15 kms from Rock beach.. It is almost a private beach and we paid for the entry around 130 rupees per person. The beach is closed by 5 pm.. Food is not that great at the restaurants around the beach area. Had some fun in the water and took few pics.. The beach is very clear and the water is in blues with clear sand... ❤😘 the view but there are no shacks.. Liquor is prohibited at the beach 😒

We returned back to hotel and on the way we had lunch at the Restrobar.. Liquor is a bit costly, however the ambience and food is good. In the evening we roamed in the lanes of Pondicherry trying to explore the city... Clothes are at reasonable prices and we picked up few 😜

At night we went to Rock beach and dined at the Skygarden roof top restaurant and bar, I could feel the cool breeze on the roof top, enjoyed the food and returned back to hotel.. Don't expect night life in Pondicherry as everything will be closed by 11 PM.

Day 5

As usual we woke up late... we are not rushing as it it is our vacation time 😜

Started to Auroville beach on Bullet.. the beach has a black sand with high tides.. There is nothing to sit and relax.. it is just a beach where you could see few fishermen.. We moved to Matrimandir and walked around 2 kms to see the view, we couldn't get inside as it is closed due to maintenance... Walking under hot sun in the afternoon... we are very exhausted 🥵 and finally reached to see the view of Matrimandir.. Very beautiful.. took few pics and relaxed for sometime and returned back to hotel...

We had lunch at the LB2 lounge. . It has a pretty ambience.. Having chilled 🍺 after walk under the☀is refreshing. Spent good time at the lounge and went for a fresh Body Spa.. Returned back to hotel and slept badly. We had few pints of beer and had dinner in the hotel room as it is too late to dine out at any hotel..
