Since, I am native of the northern part of the country I have visited mostly hilly areas like masoorie, Manali and Shimla where we can easily find valleys and mountains. For a change in the genre of my traveling experiences I visited Pondicherry, also I heard a lot about the beaches there, I was very keen to see the beaches so I selected Pondicherry. We planned the trip for 4 days.

We went to White town first and the view and surrounding there was amazing, the roads there were of stone footsteps and it gives amazing pleasure in walking there. You could even get a cycle on rent and explore the place. First, we visited the beach to have our breakfast, after that we rented scooty from the local renter and went straight to Auroville. We trekked a little to reach the temple. The place is Mattri Temple which has a big tomb and has beautiful structure. The temple is situated in the middle of the town. The city is known for how people there lived on principles and believe in gender equality is high. The market there was full of the antiques and candles, perfumes and stuffed with handmade materials. Next day we went to see the saniety beach, had some few peaceful moments. The beach is covered in a wide range you can explore more and more there. If you are interested in surfing you would not find a better place than saniety beach. The beach was very clean. We spent our whole day at the beach. The sand, coral and the environment of the place will give the total feeling of being alive and fun. The next day we visited Paradise beach. It totally satisfies the name; truly felt like Paradise as far as our eyes could reach it was shore and water. It is an ideal place for swimming and the view there to totally stunning, the water was very clean and reflection the sky and everything there was dead drop beautiful. O the last day of our trip we stayed at White town, explored a little there, the church and markets around there and then we departed for back to our place.

I don’t think the place is suited for a solo trip, best will be if you visit it will family or friends. We visited there in June so the weather was quite hot and little humid due to the beach near to it, we almost got sunburned. We booked a place for ourselves through Airbnb. We, three friends, visited there and per head, it was 5000-6000 around. The most interesting I found about the trip was the view we saw at the time of sunset and sunrise. The view became more beautiful because of the beach; it was peaceful at that time.
