Chikmagalur : The heaven on Earth

So I am back with one more travel blog to Chikmagalur. This time we were two people in one bike . We started as usual 4 in the morning from Bangalore . We decided to visit kemmangundi (We didn't go to the stay we booked directly ). So we took kengeri - magadi - kunigal - tiptur (we took a deviation near kunigal) -

We had our breakfast in tiptur (small road side shop). So moving on , we went to kallathgiri falls which was on the way to kemmangundi

Then we decided to visit Z point . The Z point is a amazing spot ,but we have trek  to reach the top . We parked the vehicle outside the gate ( no vehicles are allowed inside the gate , we to walk around 2 kms before the trekking starts ) , before reaching z point trekking spot we get a small falls called Shanti falls (unfortunately could not take any pictures there because of leaches ) . And then after 2 kms of walk

We reached the trekking spot . It was a awesome experience but very tiring ( not at all recommended for elderly people ) .But after the trek asusual the view was damn amazing

Then we started our journey to chikmagalur . On the way near lingdalli , we had our lunch (asusual in some roadside shop) . Around 4 in the evening we reached out stay Zostel Chikmagalur. I recommend this stay for solo Travellers , it is a very awesome place to stay and very cheap (if you are solo or like group of 2 or 3 ) . You get bunker beds and like minded people i.e travellers and bikers . So were done for the day because of the tiring trek we did to the Z point . So we just had a beer near our stay and had dinner in zostel and we were done for the day

So the next morning we woke up around 7 in the morning and decided to visit the heaven mullyangiri . We started around 8 . We can take our vehicles to certain point in mullyangiri and we have to climb up like 200 odd steps . The ride was an amazing experience , I couldn't see the road at all when I was nearer to the peak .

After our visit to mullyangiri we headed back to our stay Zostel and we had coffee in our stay and left chikmagalur around 11 and we took chikmagalur - Hassan - magadi - Bangalore while coming back . We reached around 4 in the evening. So it was wrap up for this amazing trip
