No your eyes are not going monochrome…..it's all Coorg, it knows hues of only green and that's the colour it does best!! All the money you spent on those international trips seems like a waste when you enter Coorg and wonder how the picturesque beauty of India can outdo your expectations!

Day1: Land in Bangalore and Snoozeeeeee!!!
Friday evening, post a heavy day at work in Gurgaon, we landed in Bangalore. We chose a bit of luxury, ITC Gardenia, for a good night’s sleep (Aman wanted to pamper me on my birthday trip). That's where our green journey took off from, take a look at their beautiful restaurant.
Day 2: Majestic Mysore
After indulging in a lavish spread for breakfast, we picked our Zoomcar ride- a Swift Automatic this time. They gave us a new model in pretty blue colour which was a treat! Road to Mysore from Bangalore takes you directly to one unmissable stop - The Palace.
Mighty, Majestic, and Mesmerising are a few words you utter with one look and “we were rich” little later. Explore the rich heritage and the rich rich taste of the makers and get some clicks with the splendid backgrounds.
Made a night stop in Mysore at Country Inn to not rush on our trip, and ended the day with a cozy dinner at the rooftop under moonlight. Turned to crazy fun later with a bit too many beers :D
Day 3: Captivating Coorg at its best
Road journey from Mysore to Coorg is where a million times and more, I mentioned to Aman- “This looks like a drive in New Zealand!”.
With nature at its best we headed straight to our dreamy stay- The Tamara Resorts. The time we spent there was like something picked right out of our dreams. The hidden cottage nestled in a mighty forest area, a restaurant built on a gushing waterfall, flawless service, rejuvenating yoga, and coffee plantations made this a trip to remember ( nope we are not getting paid for all the adjectives!)
The surprise candle light dinner by the pool, Aman got arranged, made us fall in love all over again...
Day 4: Walk with Elephants to Pathi Pole falls
We spent our morning on a 5.5km trek in lush green forest to breathtaking view of the Pathi- Pole falls. We had a pack of elephants walking ahead and although not recommended, it was definitely an adventure to follow their footsteps.
Next we decided to make a stop was Chelavara Falls, but not being able to take a dip in water was a little disappointing. Irupu Falls is the most famous waterfall in Coorg which can get a bit crowded, still justifies its popularity.
We decided to make Blue Tiger Cottage as our last stay to taste the experience of a local cosy estate, where Lucy, Lola and Sheeba- welcomed us with all the love in the world.
Although it's a different experience, the place is meant for larger groups (6+) and not for couples. The cottage, while separated from the main house, lacks in privacy and can use more maintenance.
Day 5: Coorg to Bangalore to Delhi....
We took a tour around our property with our three experts (yes the dogs!), ate home cooked meal, played basketball in our estate, got pets of another estate all worked up, and were off to Bangalore to catch our flight back to busy jobs in Gurgaon.
