Away from all the city chaos and deadlines, Away from all the Network coverages, there was a beautiful place called AGUMBE, The famous writer R.K.Narayan's Birthplce and also the village he refers are MALGUDI in his book is a village located in the Mangalore State with abundant untouched Nature. It was a long trek towards the Kudlu teertha falls that was tiring and there were moments when I thought to give up thinking that there won't be much water. But I was glad I didn't give up when I reached the falls, It was a mesmerising stream of water with rainbows underneath it, Took a dip in the water and it was the moment when I washed away all my tiredness, The place was beautiful and there were dedicated Forest Guards who took count of Plastic people took and endured they took it back. The day followed walking back and as it was getting dark we camped under a plain land and watched the stars, they were beautiful as I hadn't seen much of the stars in my working city Mumbai or Bangalore. we spotted various constellations like Orion and so on.
The next day we trekked to the Kundadri Hills, starting at 4 in the morning it was chilling cold of 14 degrees Celsius and we climed the hill the see one of the best sunsets, Misty clouds covering the Lands and the mighty sun rising above them, The following we took a walk to the historic Kavledurga Fort and followed by a brief session about Wildlife photography (As I'm interested in Photography) at the Agumbe Rainforest Research Institue (ARRI) where we had a talk about the King Cobras and tried to get a sighting of King Cobra which was not successful but found a Juvenile Malabar Pit Viper
