Kasol is an absolutely beautiful arcade in the Parvati valley in Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by snow-clad mountain peaks. The Grahan village is a beautiful addition to this, and one of its hidden treasures.

Kasol is filled with young people and if you’re looking for a getaway to relax, that is not it. I chose Grahan Village for its divinity and simplicity. It is a heavenly abode surrounded by the Himalayas. It is like the breath of fresh air comes naturally with the place.

Grahan is the base camp for trekking to the SAR mountain pass. It is a major escape spot for Israelis who stay for months in the perfectly preserved pine setting.

It gives an energetic vibe, is extremely pious and against alcohol. Even carrying alcohol in the village is fined.

The village is home to around 350 people who are very welcoming. A lot of households have converted their houses into homestays for tourists who visit the beauty that Grahan is.
