Trip to Grahan village with 7 friends

Tripoto

Located in the town of Kasol, Grahan village is a beautiful hidden jewel of Himachal Pradesh, set at an altitude of 7700 ft above sea level. The Grahan Village trek from Kasol is the only option to reach this quaint village. The journey of walking into the pathless woods with the thunderous roar of Parvati River in your ears is a delight for every nature fanatic. Inhabited by a population of only 350 people, the place is an absolute delight for avid trekkers.

The trek to reach Grahan village will take around 4-5 hours on an average with a couple of halts. Overall, the hike is pretty easy even for a rookie trekker. This village also acts as a base for trekkers hiking towards Sar Pass. Due to this, the route of Grahan trek is pretty well marked with red arrows all along the way. You will find various stunning spots to bask in the beauty of the nature and when tired can have a rest under the shadow of the pine trees.
We started our journey at around 3-4 pm in noon. And we reached there around 8 pm on same day.
We met with a man while going towards village and guided us path.
And we stayed at his home stay only.
