London, Capital of England, is the financial capital, a diverse and cosmopolitan cities in the world.

Trip starts from London Bridge Metro Station.

Day 1

Tower Bridge: An iconic symbol of London is one of the most visited and captured destination by Travelers. There are a lot of bridges along Thames river but this bridge became more popular ever since its construction in 1894. It is a bascule (movable bridge) and suspension bridge. Visitors can climb up the towers of the bridge. The entrance is from the North Tower and entrance fee is £10 for adults.

Borough Market: An excellent place to dine in for Lunch or Dinner and also for some fresh food purchase. Buy some street food here and walk around to maybe escape from the cold breeze along the Walk of River Thames.

Tower of London: It lies on the North bank of River Thames in central London (just the other side of Tower bridge). Build in 1066 it was also a prison from 1100 until 1952. It also was used as a armory, treasury, Royal Mind house, and now holds the crown jewels of England. It is a 6 acres fortress. Worth a visit if one is interested in crown jewels and medieval structures.

Walk along River Thames: As mentioned there are a lot of bridges connecting Central London across the Thames River. There are a lot of walking or jogging space which is mostly fun to walk and if one has potential to walk long distances most of the London destinations (tourists) can be completed by walking around. I personally did not plan the borough market but stumbled as I decided to walk.

London Eye: Another famous destination and a symbol of London in most Hollywood / Bollywood movies. An observation wheel on the south bank of Thames rivers. The view from the top of the wheel is excellent. Time of visit depends on one's preference, I preferred to visit during the night. The night view of the City of London from the top is excellent and can't be expressed in words. It costs about £ 27. But worth to buy it with any other major destination such as Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon, Sea Life London Aquarium and Shrek's Adventure.

Day 2

Madame Tussauds: Famously called the Wax Museum. It was founded by Marie Tussaud in 1835. Visitors can also view the sculptors tools and choice of various parts used for wax sculptures of artists, famous leaders, sports personal and scientists. It is another tourist attraction in Central London. Over the years Madame Tussauds Wax Museum were established in other big cities around the world to expand and share more regional figures to expand their business (of-course profits). Visitors are allowed to click besides the famous star figures. London Museum, for me personally, felt a little artificial compared to my visit in Tokyo, Japan. Individual Ticket Price is about £ 32 (online price) but with another attraction like London Eye it costs £ 40 (online price) and it is cheap for two attractions combined.

Buckingham Palace: Home of British Queen is another tourist destination to visit. The park around the palace is a great time to spend with family and friends. A joggers park for Londoners around the palace. Occasionally there is a possibility to see royal members travelling in the royal horse carriage. There is also a Parade of Royal Guard which is basically a change in shift of the guards. Visitors are also allowed to snap besides these guards on huge horse.

Day 1

Hideout: Wombat's The City Hostel, a budget hostel with 6 bed dormitory with internal locker facility was booked. The amenities were excellent and no complaints. Towels and bed-sheets with pillow covers were provided. Rooms and shower were clean and well maintained. One can book with breakfast included and the breakfast is a typical English breakfast. A free non-alcoholic beverage was offered to guests. The basement which replicates a bunker structures, has entertainment such as snooker, table tennis, table for playing cards, reading space along with a bar. It is good option for individuals (not for family). It is filled with young folks, playing games, reading books, and sharing a drink with other fellow travelers to London.

Other Places to Visit: Some of the places which are interesting to visit are St.Paul's Cathedral, Royal Opera House, Museum of London, Westminster Abbey, St Margaret's Church, Westminster Bridge, etc which are located in the City of London.
