Dapoli basically can be called as 'Town of Beautiful Beaches' due to number of beaches and ports right from Kelshi in north to Dabhol in south.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Dapoli can be easily accessed from Mumbai (by Mumbai Goa Highway) by covering a road distance of about 230 km and from pune 210 km (Via Tamhini ghat or Mahabaleshwar).

Dapoli has number of beautiful, clean and no man beaches that gives you privacy. Especially Murud, Ladghar, Karde, Kelshi, and Palande are quite famous for their sandiness. The good thing here is that all the beaches are around 10 -15 km from Dapoli.
Dapoli is gifted with 4 minor ports those are Kelshi, Palshet, Bankot and Boria. And 2 major,
Harnai and Dabhol.
PLACES TO VISIT:
1) Murud beach
Murud is located in the west of Dapoli at distance of 12 km only. It is quite crowdy in month of December as number of water sports, parachuting,horse riding, scuba diving, dolphin seeing and water safaris are available.
Murud also has a Durgadevi Temple, usually people after entering Murud firstly take blessing of Durga Maa and then proceed towards the Beach.
2) Harnai port
Harnai has a port with Light House at its top.
Harnai also has a big fish market on its shore ,
where variety of fishes are available. The speciality of this fish market is that the freshly catched fishes are just took out of ships and in the same condition as it is they are kept for selling.
3) Ladghar beach
Basically ladghar is a particularly known for its Datta Mandir and A Wisely Beautiful Beach that will give you complete PRIVACY .
