I went to Alibaug from Mumbai for a weekend trip.
The best part is that you can reach Alibaug in less than 1 hour through a ferry 🚢
We booked M2M ferries for our travel which is a luxury ferry at very affordable costs.

We took the ferry from Bhaucha Dhakka, Mumbai.
We reached Alibaug at around 1 PM, at Mandwa jetty. We had our villa booked at Nagaon that was approx 20kms from Mandwa jetty.
We took a local auto to reach our villa. We had booked our villa through Airbnb. We found an amazing place with reasonable prices. It is best to book a private villa if there are 5+ people or else there are reasonable hotels also available.
We reached our villa by 2 PM, did the check in, had lunch and took some rest for 1-2 hours as it was very hot outside.
By 5 PM we left for Nagaon beach. It was at a walking distance from our villa, that took us 15 mins to reach.
At Nagaon beach, we did water sports like Jet ski, Banana ride and Parasailing. Clicked some pictures and headed back to our villa.
Nagaon beach is a better option if visiting Alibaug, as it is the most famous for water sports and is less explored because it is a bit far from the main city, but definitely worth it ❤
At villa, after we got back sat for a while then decided to take a dip in the pool.
Had a fun time in the pool for a while and played games all night!!
The second day, we got up, got ready and checked out from our villa.
We had the tastiest vada pav at a local shop nearby and then left for Mandwa Jetty.
At Mandwa jetty, we had lunch with scenic views at the most famous boardwalk by flamboyante 😍
After lunch, we left for the pickup point of M2M ferries for our journey back to Mumbai.
We booked M2M ferries, but local ferries (Ac and Non-Ac) are also available from the Gateway of India at very nominal prices.
We reached back to Mumbai in evening, sat for a while at the Marine drive and headed back to our homes.
Overall it was amazing experience and best getaway for weekend with friends or family ❤
