Hi, everyone! Let me tell you about my travel experience in 2022. At that time, I was working a field job that only required 2-3 hours of work per day. After resting for a while, I realized that I wanted to do something more fulfilling during my free time. So, I decided to explore my love for travel and discover new places.
Even though I didn't have a bike, I still managed to visit beautiful locations around Guwahati and Shillong using my trusty Ntorq scooty. I discovered that there were many stunning places to visit in Meghalaya, and my girlfriend and I were excited to explore them.
One of the most beautiful places we visited was the Laitlum canyon in Shillong. The name "Laitlum" means "end of hills" in the local Khasi language. This canyon is located on the edge of a steep hill and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys and hills. We were able to see the greenery of the forests, small waterfalls, and the winding roads that lead to the bottom of the canyon.
We were able to reach the location on our Ntorq scooty and enjoyed every view along the way. We stopped to savor the picturesque scenery and even had a refreshing cup of tea amidst the cool mountains. We even packed a homemade lunch, which we enjoyed at the canyon. It was a memorable day, filled with adventure and enjoyment.
The Laitlum canyon was a must-visit destination for anyone who loves nature and adventure. It's a great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the beauty of the natural world. It felt amazing to be surrounded by lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and charming villages. We were able to connect with the friendly locals and even learned some of the local Khasi language along the way.
My travel experiences taught me the value of pursuing my passions and enjoying life to the fullest. I proved to myself that with a little bit of determination and creativity, I can explore new and exciting places even on a limited budget.
