If you are craving for a trip in the month end and you have got a big hole in your pocket, then I would suggest you to take a trip to Dehradun. I have been to this place more than 3 times now and at every visit, it had lots more to offer than I expected..
How to get there??
If you are travelling from other states and not Delhi, then you will have to take a flight to Dehradun which is 25 kms south-east to Dehradun..
But I have always preferred and travelled by Bus as I have always started my trips from Delhi and also it is pocket friendly..
Where did I stay??
Though there are number of options available in Dehradun to stay over, I found a Tibetan bliss called "Deykling"that offered a homestay in less than a thousand..

Shahastradhara:- The name defines it's beauty as it says it is a thousand fold spring which is located near the Lord Shiva Mandir. It is just 15 minutes from deykling and gives you extreme pleasure when you visit. Other than enjoying the soothing spring it gives you the chance to get a ride in the ropeway which takes you to a park with adventures and scenic beauty..
Robbers Cave: This place also known as Guccu Pani is Rocky cave that thrills you as soon as you step in. You have to walk through the cave which really takes you on a adventurous journey with its curves and suspense it unmoulds..
Malsi Deer Park: This is more of a kids place than adults but if you are fond of animals than one should absolutely visit this place as one get to see a number of species strolling at this place.
