If you are a nature person, this is the place to go. I will always cherish the 3 days I spent there with the best people around.
We took a flight from Jakarta to Lombok and reached there at around 9 am. We had booked a driver for the trip duration so he was there to receive us. We started towards Gilli Trawangan where we had booked Aston Sunset Beach Resort. I think this would be the best island to book accommodation. Since all of us from India, we preffered a place where we can get Indian food. After taking rest for a while, we set on the bicycles(usually all the resorts have it for local exploration). We also booked a tour for Gilli Islands the next day. In the evening we decided to chill outside the resort as various activites were oragnized by the Resort itself.
We started very early for our Gilli Islands tour in a private boat. The guys accompanying us were very friendly as they helped us in getting comfortable to enjoy the points. The evening here again was spent resting and enjoying the beautiful sunset from the resort.
We started for Lombok early morning as there wre some places to cover that day also. Our first stop was Benang Kelambu Waterfall where we spent some time clicking pictures. After that we moved to Mawun beach and spent some time having lunch and enjoying the beautiful view. What followed left all of us speechless and mesmerised - the beautiful sunset!! After spending time till the sunset we reached Lombok airport and Jakarta eventually.
