It was in my bucket list from past two years and finally got a chance to witness the festival that many are unaware of..Strawberry festival, yes you read it right. Its an annual event which happens for three days during the month of march or april (whenever they get time :)) and it is organised by Mapro, the manufacturers of fruit jams, crushes and many more, located on the hill town of panchgani in western india. You can taste their products for free and also buy them with some discount. There are many activities they have which easily occupy you for the entire day. Apart from this, do try their delicious pan pizza, sandwiches, shakes and fries which are not too expensive.If time permits, you can tour the nearby places around mahabhaleshwar. If you want the festival dates you can mail mapro or call them, they are generous and reply you within a day.
