Zostel Rishikesh

NIKHIL JAIN
Last morning ended up with a yoga and a bidding good bye to some amazing people Emily, dee, vandana, jenna etc. Oh yes last but not the least I want to share this one particular incidence. While doing payment at the hostel, I forgot my credit card there. I almost came half way down to auto stand when suddenly Shashi (manager at zostel,Rishikesh) came to me and handed me over my credit card. I was astonished to see such an amazing gesture. I was so overwhelmed.I boarded the bus and came back to Delhi before going to Gwalior.Surely I am going to miss Rishikesh but I will be visiting there soon.

I boarded bus from Kashmiri gate on 20th April around 10:15 PM and reached Rishikesh around 5:00 AM (Yudhishthir setu) which was around 5 kms from Zostel, Rishikesh. My booking was from 21st and check in timing was 12:00PM so i slept at Zostel's common room. Day 1

At Zostel they had arranged for Bonfire and Dhol to celebrate Holi, we joined them and had fun having dinner and enjoying the Super Moon and the Starry sky from the terrace while warming up to the Bonfire. The plan for next day had been hatched by Ankit from Zostel, he told us to be ready by 4:45 in the morning.. we were going to some exciting place..To know what happened keep reading..Day 2: From the Gateway of Plains-Rishikesh to Queen of Hills- Mussoorie

Our first checkin was in the Hotel Zostel a unique, quaint concept/boutique hotel situated in Tapovan. There were paintings, music activities in the Zostel premises, most of the guest were foreigners who had checked into Rishikesh for their spiritual quest. We also entered our rooms with the same zeal and enthusiasm thinking of what lay ahead of us, as the journey had just begun and it had already become very interesting.

Ah! Rishikesh was just superb and amazing . We dropped the idea of rafting , rather than rented 2 bullet and 1 scooty and went to shivpuri . Oh the feeling !!!!! You must have this experience of riding bike on hills . It was amazing . That day we clicked photographs a lot, ride bike around 20kms on shivpuri - rishikesh highway. Then went to chotiwala , had dinner , saw aarti , came back and booked our bus for 11.30 . After that, on 1st july morning came back delhi in morning around 5am . I really didn't want it to end . For one week , we couldn't recover from the trip , it was that amazing . It cost us around 5500rs per person for this trip and it was all worth it. ❤🤗
