Clarke Quay is a nightlife hub just minutes away from our hotel.Busy streets with flamboyant pubs and restaurants on either side some having live band music while others preferring the modern electronic music.Pubs trying their best to lure you in with captivating offer so make sure you are there for the happy hours which are from 5pm to 8pm. Most of the offers are valid only in happy hours. Cost for a pint of beer is around S$12-14.I'm sure i saw Sake(Japanese rice wine) written on the some boards.Singapore Sling is the local alcohol having a blend of Pineapple and lime juice mixed with a bunch of other liqueurs but mainly gin.Clarke quay is generally open till 3-4 am(varies from pub to pub).So make sure you include Clarke quay in your travel plans and start a little late the next day. Unfortunately we had to start early.

Universal generally closes at 6 P.M, so we headed towards clarke quay area after that where you find F.R.I.E.N.D.S legendary central perk cafe and it gives you a feel of Amsterdam. In dinner, we tried local cuisine in SGD 4 (212 rupees). we forgot lunch that day because we were very excited in universal studios.

Clarke Quay Clarke Quay is the riverside quay known for its nightlife pubs and bars. There are few well know restaurant chains here. There are also multiple well-known restaurants for seafood mainly black pepper crab. The Clarke Quay Central mall is a decent place to stroll around. Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream is a low-fat low-sugar homemade ice cream place. We had their Sea Salt Caramel ice cream and it was yum.Being huge fans of cheesecakes, we could not miss out on the famous Asian inspired cheesecakes from Cat and the Fiddle. We got two of them The Modern Duke's Pudding (Oreo Cookies & Cream) and Apple of My Eye (Apple Crumble) and very not disappointed. They were one of the best cheesecakes we have ever eaten.
