This was my first International trip, something which every traveller dreams of. Often it’s not easy to travel much, specially when you find it tough to save. Here are few hacks which I use to save for travelling. Yes, that’s a much better saving than a huge bank balance that remains idle. Rather, let’s save to enrich our souls with experiences.

My hacks for saving to travel

#hack1 - Have two bank accounts and try to use only one for expenses while the other remains as a proper saving. This is for those who earn an average salary.

#hack2 - Open a Recurring account if you have a good salary and don’t want to spend much. This monthly deduction on salary is better than credit card deductions.

Stats - even Rs 3000 a month would mean 36 k annually which can give u great trips in India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Also, try Andamans for it.

#hack3 - use applications for expense management and keep and account on your monthly expenses, instead of wondering where your money vanishes by the month end. It really works.

#hack4 - Spend wisely when on a trip, try and save from that too if needed. Most of the time we spend extra on a trip, which could have been used for two. Maybe a shorter weekend trip.

#hack5 - Dp not spend much on shopping clothes for trips, carry light and you can always buy cool stuff to wear in the place you’ve gone to.
