Udaipur : Gem of India

The hotel is maintained by HRH group and its a very decent place to plan your stay. Cost for 2N : ₹6000

There is a vintage car museum in the same property. It's not the best but it's good.

Ticket rates for Vintage car museum are ₹300 per person.

We hired a scooter at ₹400 per day rent. You can see narrow lanes, nice cafes, ancient collections in shops, etc. while traveling through streets of Udaipur.

We had dinner at Ambrai Restaurant. It is one of the popular restaurants in Udaipur. You can enjoy a candlelight dinner with a beautiful view of Lake Pichola. We tried Lal Maas, Indian breads, Gajar Halva and Hot Chocolate Brownie.

There are many good german, french cafes in Udaipur. We had breakfast at Cafe Edelweiss (since 1999 in Udaipur). Then we went to City Palace.

Ticket rates are ₹300 per person. This palace is amazing. You can see Rajasthani art, some exceptional crystal work and the history behind it. It takes around 3 hrs to see City Palace. Then you can also visit Crystal Art Gallery. You have to buy tickets for this.

We had a lunch at Rainbow Restaurant. Again amazing food.

After taking some rest in the afternoon we took Lake Pichola Sunset Boat Ride. The cost is ₹250 per person, if you buy tickets from place near to Rainbow Restaurant. Don't take boat ride from City Palace, it's unnecessary costly.

We spend some time on Udaipur streets to know its history and culture. Narrow streets, happening places make you feel refreshed all the time.

We had dinner at Garden Hotel.

We hired a cab for Chittorgarh. It is 90 km far from Udaipur. Cab rent was ₹2500. Guide fees at Chittorgarh ₹300. Chittorgarh entry fee is ₹60.

It takes 3 hours to see major parts of the fort. It has an interesting history from the time of Chandragupta Morya till 16th century.

Around 5pm we returned to Udaipur. We had dinner at Hotel Trident which is 7-8 km far from our stay "Raas Leela". Cost for 2N: ₹8000

On last day, we visited some more tourist places in city.

In the morning, we visited "Saheliyo Ki Bari". This is the place where you can see natural fountains (running without electricity) and some nice gardens.

Then we visited "Maharana Pratap Samrak " and "Fatehsagar Lake".

We had lunch at "Traditional Khana" , one of the best restaurants in New Udaipur .

We spent evening at "Bagore ki haveli" to see puppet show and traditional dance.
