Day 1

Welcome to Seoul, South Korea! This bustling city is full of sights, sounds, and flavors that will surely captivate you. Here's a suggested itinerary for your first day in the city:

Morning: Start your day with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most famous of the five palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. The palace was built in 1395 and has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times throughout history. The palace opens at 9 am, and it's recommended to arrive early to avoid the crowds. You can watch the changing of the guard ceremony at the main gate at 10 am and 2 pm.

Afternoon: After exploring the palace, head to Insadong, a quaint neighborhood known for its traditional Korean arts and crafts. You can stroll down the main street, browse the shops, and try some Korean street food like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) or hotteok (sweet pancakes). If you're interested in traditional Korean tea culture, you can visit a tea house and enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the beautiful Korean tea sets.

Evening: In the evening, head to Namsan Tower, also known as Seoul Tower, for stunning panoramic views of the city. You can take a cable car or hike up the mountain to the tower. At the top, you can enjoy the views, take photos, and leave a love lock on the fence. If you're feeling hungry, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, including a revolving restaurant with 360-degree views of the city.

After a full day of sightseeing, head back to your accommodation for some rest and relaxation. Make sure to get a good night's sleep, as there's plenty more to explore in Seoul tomorrow!
