Location
If you are staying at an accommodation in Shenzhen China, the garden isn’t too far away. It is located to the north-eastern side of the city.
The six divisions
There are six unique aspects of the botanic garden, namely, Temple District, Heavenly Human Landscape, Desert Plant Area, Lake District, Songbai Du Fu Scenic and Area Fossil Forest Scenic Area.
Hike
The hike to Hongfa Temple isn’t difficult, just follow the path in the woods to towards the manmade lake. Don’t be surprised to find people cursing at the lake.

Yes, you can dine at the gardens. There are two restaurants, one Penglai Pavilion Restaurant located in Xianhu Scenic Area for authentic food and the other is a vegetarian restaurant at the temple. Neither of them is cheap.
