After our Gold Coast trip, we headed for SYDNEY, one of the costliest cities in the world. While the flight prepared for landing, I enjoyed beautiful views of the Sydney harbour that hosts the famous Opera house and the Harbour Bridge.

Our Stay: We stayed at Rendezvous Hotel Sydney Central located in the CBD area, the most well connected and lively part of the city.

To move around: It is highly recommended to get an Opal Card which has the minimum cost of AUD10 for adult cards, AUD5 for child cards and can be used for metro, bus and ferry. Please do remember this card is non-refundable and you won't get any unutilized balance back. If you love driving, car hire is another economical and convenient option. UBER cars are easily available as well.

Day 2: Sydney Opera house, Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Manly and Shelly Beach

We started our 2nd day from Circular Quay. This is the most popular place for tourists mainly because of the two picturesque attractions - "Sydney Opera house" and "Sydney Harbour Bridge". Please do walk-up all the stairs to the Sydney Opera House and you will be totally amazed by the 360 degree view. We missed climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge but I think that would have been a great experience as well.

Our next stop was at The Rocks. This is the area with a lot of Cafes where you can enjoy great food and take some pictures outside the beautiful architectural buildings . We then headed towards the ferry terminus from where we took the ferry to the beautiful Manly and Shelly Beach. If you are going on a Sunday, the ticket price is only AUD 2. The ferry ride is fun and you can actually stand on the outside deck and capture great views of the harbour.

The walk from Manly to Shelly Beach is about 1.5 Km but the 20-30 mins spent walking are really worth and i would really recommend you to do that. The sunset looks adorable from this stretch and you will end up taking home a lot of lovely pictures.

Day 3: Darling Harbour, Bondi Beach and The Star Casino

On our 3rd, firstly we went for breakfast to the "Darling Harbour", which hosts many restaurants and bars. The harbour view with a lot of skyscrapers around definitely deserves a picture or two. We took a lot and enjoyed the weather.

From Darling Harbour we took UBER to the "Bondi Beach", the most famous Beach in Sydney. It's a very beautiful beach with white sand and blue waters. We had a good time relaxing and clicked pictures, pictures, pictures and a lot of them. There are some good bars nearby where you could go for a drink.
