I love Panshet not only for its water activities but because it is also the closest of places near Pune. Just one and a half hours drive and you're there.

Tamhini ghat is the best. No other place near Pune can match up to its beauty. It is the most picturesque place during monsoon time. I just love it.

Perfectly done. This is the first post on weekend getaways from Pune where I'm seeing the distance, location and best time to visit mentioned. It's what readers look for eventually.
