THE SAME MOMENT WHEN EVERYONE IS EAGER FOR THE SUN TO COME OUT AND YOUR NAKED EYES CANNOT SEE THE MOUNTAIN RANGE BUT YOUR CAMERA CAN.

All my life clicking pictures, I have chased the sun rising and setting all around where ever I could reach. I never knew this morning would be one such morning when I would not even be facing the sun but the other way around. It was a night I can never forget. Had partied all night, and i remember reading about reaching tiger hill to witness this phenomenon. the golden summit at sunrise. The blogs said about shared cabs to the location starting at 2.30 am from some. I rushed out of my room at 2 packed my bags wore 2 sweaters and just started walking. I needed to find those cabs or it would be a 10km walk from the town centre. An hour later I found the cab stand, they hardly asked me a mere amount of 200rs for a return trip, which was supposed to be paid at the end of the trip. I took a seat, started my journey towards the hill. I reached there it was pitch dark, with a sky full of stars I had never seen before. The sight of Kanchenjunga was completely dicy, it is said that finding a clear sky is very difficult during the winters but my luck favoured me and it was a clear sky.. the sky started turning blue with dawn. At 5 the sun started to rise. There were around 400 people around and everybody started to look at the sun and completely missed out on the sheer beauty of the sun melting the summit of the Kanchenjunga. I assure you, a trip to North Bengal is something you would never regret.
