Agrasen ki Baoli (Baoli Ka kua- a generic name called by local people), designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958, is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road near Connaught Place, a short walk from Barakhambha Road in New Delhi, India.

This place is untouched by general crowd and a perfect spot for portfolio shoots, or spending evenings with close friends.

The walls are symmetrical yet very symbolic. The place was supposed to be a well (Kua in Hindi) where the king / queen come to take bath in ancient times. In the ancient time, people used it as well to reserve water and now, the water has dried up.

The myth about this place is that people believe it to be filled with black water once which could absorb people inside it by hypnotizing them. It is believed to be a haunted place and entry after evening is not allowed.

One thing is sure; you won’t get lonely here, as it is a home to loads of pigeons and Bats.

In short, it's an amazing place and a must visit.
