Day 2

Oops, we were a bit late. I think it was the hangover which the place itself gave us. But then, we packed our bags, had our breakfast and took a bus for Barshaini where you can buy  necessary stuffs for the trek like trekking shoes, raincoats, sticks, etc.. we reached there, and it was no less than a beauty. We had a cup of tea and started our trek. For the trek, there are two ways:- one goes through yhe forest and one through the village.
We decided to take up the forest route.
And, it was a wholesome experience. Walking on the stones and roots of trees, it was full of adventure, we took 4-5 hours to complete the trek. The weather also got a bit weird. It was raining and the path got way more difficult. We took breaks at small cafes coming on the way. The food and beverages there are a bit costlier but worth. By 5:30pm we reached, and got ourselves tents. It was very very cold there and it was raining cats and dogs whole night. And, then and there the next morning I witnessed my first ever snowfall.

The mandat one.

Day 1

Was into a deep sleep whole night on the bus from Delhi to Kasol, so that I could wake up to mountains and rivers. By 7am, we reached there. And within no time we were already mesmerized by the aura of that place. Almost for an hour, my friends and I just keep walking as if we were flowing into the river. And, how to forget dogs...oh my god, I think mountains and dogs go hand-in-hand. As time passed we started looking for a stay. We kept on moving towards Chalal trek.
On the way to Chalal trek, there comes the famous "KASOL-CHALAL BRIDGE". I simply can't describe the view and the feels. Walking down the trail, we stopped by the passing river and you won't believe we sat there for more than 2hours. It was so peaceful, satisfying and what not. Moving on, just by the side of rhe river, we luckily got a home-stay and the view from there was something which I'll cherish my whole life. It was very much affordable.
The day passed, and we again went to the river as if it was calling out our names and attracted us towards it. We literally spend 3-4 hours again and then moved to Kasol market. We bought some trippy-boho stuffs and also visited to cafe. I must say "Night life in Kasol is something you must witness once".
We headed back to our stay place. There was one party organised at that place which takes place daily. We danced and enjoyed alot. Then, came back to our room and slept as next morning we had to start the Kheerganga trek.

Woke up to this.

Day 3

I was in awe. It was snowing heavily and in that heavy snowfall, we decided to take a bath in the hot spring. Yes, there's a hot spring for both girls and boys but separate ones.
Trust me with this, if you're going there on top, don't come back without experiencing that hot spring and clicking some hot pictures.
We were in hot spring and in the snowfall all together. It was like cherry on tha cake.
The snowfall became denser, so we decided to move back down or else we would get stuck there for two days.
We trekked down through village route.
Salute to people who live there. It was raining alot and many trekkers were getting hurt too. We came back down and as we were moving down the sky got clearer. We took a bus straight to  Bhuntar from Barshaini. You need to worry about transportation as on that route there runs buses or taxis always.
We came to Bhuntar and we board our bus back to Delhi.
We started missing that place  as soon as we left.
