This was the much awaited and exciting day of my life! I was heading towards Kedarnath and we started our trek. Trust me, the trek is not at all easy or moderate. Although it is not much steep/ ascending or descending but the energy required to complete this trek is too hard. We started our trek around 11:30am and completed it at 10:00pm in the night. Wondering why we took so much time? The first suggestion which I would give during Kedarnath trek is never carry heavy luggage and so we did not realize and took two heavy trek bads with us. Later, after completing around 4 hours and 7kms we realized that it won't be possible to reach at the temple if we are at such speed. We decided to take Khacchar and starting around 4pm in evening it dropped us at the base point around 9pm. The in-betwren route and journey was totally wonderful with such beautiful views. Even after taking Khacchar, our legs started painting. Therefore, be prepared if you are planning for Kedarnath Darshan.
