I visited Bangalore in August 2016 for some official work. I stayed in a hotel in Indiranagar, which is also a pub area by chance and very popular for its night life. I get a chance to see the city more closer than ever. I had indexed the places based on their location for convenience. It is always good to visit one region after another. I hope you will find yourself involved in this adventurous journey.

Day 1

MG Road (Mahatma Gandhi Road) and Brigade Road

This is one of the most popular shopping and entertainment hub in the city. This place is connected through metro, so no worries. However, being one of the busiest road in the city, you will find rush here most of the time. Take a stroll on the street, enjoy the bright atmosphere, people chattering and the food. If you are here then you will not miss visiting Garuda Mall and Commercial Street. This place is famous for shopping.

This is one of the cheapest shopping areas for everyone. Either you like shopping on street/footpath or not, I'd recommend - you should give it a try. Just walk through the street - "kya pta kya dikh jaye" :). I have always liked these types of small shops because they are full of surprises.

Surprisingly, there was a marriage ceremony going on, the day I visited. so guess, a lot of people everywhere and I would not look awkward anymore. I spent nearly half an hour inside the church. Its was all so peaceful. If there is calmness and peace somewhere, it was here at that time.

The best thing I liked after getting in was, it reminded me of my school days. Whatever experiences I have had in my school days, it felt like it was live here, just in front of my eyes. Some of these being- Wright brothers flying machine, dinosaurs gallery, first commercial vehicle, motor cars, train engine, space science etc. It was all there.
