3. Tipu Sultan’s Summer PalaceYet another instance of past splendor is this incredible 2 storey structure a few minutes from Lalbagh. Built in a distinctive Indo-Islamic style of architecture, this entire building is made of teak. It is rumored, that the famous South Indian ruler, Tipu Sultan used to hold court in the east and west balconies. There is also a painting of his throne, hung up on the wall. Than we went to tipu sultan palace, it was a great place.Small palace but good to see.
• Opening Hours: 10.00 am –6.00 pm• Nearest Metro: Lalbagh Station of Green Line (400 mtrs)Located at KR Market, built around year 1791 the palace was summer residence of Tipu Sultan. Although, there isn't much to see as the palace is very small, you can take a stroll and combine it with Lal Bagh.6. Vidhana Soudha
