Day 5 Kerala Trip

On our way we visited Spice plantation garden. It was very informative. We bought there some organic and ayurvedic stuffs.

Way to Munnar was very beautiful. We halted next at Chinnakanal waterfall. It was a mighty waterfall just in front of main road attracting all tourists. We took fun photos there also.

Whether was getting chilly as we were proceeding towards Munnar. We were greeted by green green velvety mountains by both the sides of roads we took photo break at one place to take photos with tree plantations.

Here we also visited Lockheart tea factory where we got to see whole process of Tea making. We also bought Tea boxes from there.

Our next stop was at Chinnakanal dam. The view of water reservoir was breathtaking. We took photos here as well.

As we left the place we spotted wild elephant herd romaing openly. We could not resist ourselves from clicking pics.

on our way we got to see one interesting spot " Robbers Cave" . It was a little cave aside main highway. It is a notion that many rears ago there used to be a robber, residing in this cave who used to loot rich people and used to distribute wealth among poors.

After the whole day of exploring Munnar we reached our hotel booked for the night. It was very far from the centre, almost on the boarder of Kerala and Tamilnadu amid Sandlewood jungle

It was very cold there. As it was jungle area it was scary too. We closed doors of our balcony and window and sneaked into our blankets.
