Day 1

Welcome to your 'Nepal Delight' tour! On arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by our representative outside the arrival hall post customs and immigrations and transferred to your hotel. Later, proceed for a half day city tour of Kathmandu covering the temple of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.

Pashupatinath is regarded as one of the most significant and sacred temple of Lord Shiva (Pashupati). Built in the 5th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a unique example of the Nepalese style of architecture. The main attraction is an impressive statue of a large bull or Nandi covered in gold.

Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, Boudhanath Stupa is one of the oldest and largest stupa and a centre of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It is said to contain the holy relics of the past Buddha, Kashyapa, who is venerated both by Buddhists and Hindus. Overnight in Kathmandu (D)

Day 2

Today, proceed on a picturesque drive to the enchanting city of Pokhara. Its pristine air, snowy peaks, peaceful lakes and beautiful greenery make it 'The Jewel in the Himalaya'. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure or one can enjoy boating on Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara. (B, D)

Day 3

After Breakfast, enjoy a visit to the Bindya Basini Temple and the Gupteshwar Cave, considered the longest cave in Nepal where the Shiva Lingam is preserved. Finally visit the Davis Falls and Seti River George, a fascinating waterfall locally known as the Patale Chhango (Nether Fall), which means Underworld Waterfall.

Later in afternoon, visit the International Mountain Museum and Tibetan Refugee Settlement. The International Mountain Museum (IMM) was established with the theme 'Man, Mountain and Mountain activities around the world'. It has three main exhibition halls - Hall of the Great Himalaya, Hall of Fame and the Hall of World Mountains and showcases historical documents, records and chronicles on mountaineering as well as displays the history, culture, geology, flora and fauna of the Himalayas.

Pokhara is home to four Tibetan Refugee Settlements. Tashiling in the south and Tashi Palkheil (near the Devi's Fall) in the north of Pokhara valley are inhabited by residents who earn a living by producing and trading in Tibetan carpets and other handicrafts. Jampaling and Paljorling are two settlements established for the rehabilitation of people from the Mustang guerrilla force.

In the evening, enjoy boating for an hour on Fewa Lake. The rest of the evening is at leisure for independent activites. Overnight in Pokhara. (B, D)

Day 4

Today, drive back to Kathmandu, where on arrival you will check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the beautiful city of Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B, D)

Day 5

Today, enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu, visiting temple of Swayambhunath - the temple of the living Goddess and stroll through the old Durbar Square.

The Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath or the Monkey Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the oldest religious sites and the primary pilgrimage destination for Hindus in Nepal.

Later, proceed for an excursion to Bhaktapur, home of medieval art and architecture. It is also known as the 'City of Devotees' Bhaktapur is the third largest city in the Kathmandu Valley with a majority population of local Newars and is famous for its pagodas and temples dedicated to Hindu deities.

Post visiting Bhaktapur, visit Nagarkot - situated at an altitude of about 2,200m. Nagarkot is one of the most picturesque spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. The evening is at leisure for independent activities. Overnight in Kathmandu. (B, D)

Day 6

Today, bid farewell to your 'Nepal Delight' tour, as you are transferred to the airport in Kathmandu for your onward journey.
