Day 1

On 13th October 21 at 11.30 AM we leaved Royal Residency at Burgula Gate from where Hyderabad is 65 km away. On the way we ate some snacks, had coffee and reached Hyderabad at 1.30 PM.

Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana is a cosmopolitan city. We tried to go to Salarjang Museum by our car but as roads are too narrow and heavy traffic, cancelled by going by car and checked in Asian Grand hotel, Nampally Road, Hyderabad..after fresh n up we went by auto at Rs.100/- to Birla Mandir..No mobile phones and camera allowed. You can deposit electronic devices at cloak room. Birla Mandir is a magnificent structure built entirely out of marble from Rajasthan, built by Birla Foundation over a span of 10 years. It is constructed of 2000 tons of pure white marble. The main temple is dedicated to Lord Venkteswara. All deities are beautiful. Birla Mandir is a very beautiful, well maintained and calm place. You can see Buddha Statue and Tank Bund from Birla Mandir. The temple does not have traditional bells, as Swami Ranganathananda wished that the temple atmosphere should be conducive for meditation.

Then we went to Lumbini Park. It is a very excellent and great place to spend evening time with your loved ones. Entry ticket is Rs.20/-. We did speed boat ride at Rs 350/- (speed boat ride is upto 4 person). Also cruise and mechanical boat ride available at Rs. 100 & Rs.50/-. The gigantic 73 feet Buddha statue, is the world's tallest monolith of Gautam Buddha, erected on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of Hussain Sagar Island can be reached only by boat. In the evening Buddha statue is illuminated with different colours of lights. Lumbini Park is an amusement park at Tankbund and has Musical fountain shows every day evening. there are few rides for kids. Outside park there are vendors like lemon soda, corn, ice-cream, bhel etc. Then a autowala took us to Pearl market, here we purchased 2 pearl necklaces and then same autowala dropped us at hotel Asian Grand at Rs 50/-.

Day 2

My Papa want to travel by metro, so on 14th Oct 21 at 12 noon we went by metro from Nampally to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stop. Ticket is Rs 15/- Enjoyed metro ride with my kid. .

Then by auto Rs.80/- we went to Salarjang Museum, a world famous art museum. For visiting Salarjung Museum one must have at least 3-4 hours time. It is one of the three National Museums in India and one of the largest museums in the world. Salar Jung museum has a collection of more than 35000 antique and art objects which consists of sculptures, paintings, carvings, textiles, manuscripts, ceramics, metallic artifacts, carpets, clocks, and furniture from all over the world. The most important exhibits are the turbon and Ivorn chairs of Tipu Sultan, Aurangjeb's diamond studded sword. Veiled statue of Rebecca and Margarita - Mephistopheles. Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, Salar Jung III, spent a substantial amount of his income, over a period thirty-five years, collecting artefacts from all across the world. The English Bracket Clock at Salarjung Museum, Hyderabad which attracts the greatest number of visitors everyday is said to have manufactured in England and assembled in Calcutta in the late 19th century, acquired by Salar Jung III, (1889-1949) from the Cooke and Kelvey Co. Clock has more than 350 parts. It contains a mechanism by which a small toy figure of a bearded man comes out from the enclosure three minutes before every hour and exactly at 60th minute strikes the gong as per time (eg. Five times at 5' o clock, 3 times at 3'o clock) and then goes back inside. There is a special sitting arrangement done to view for this. Then by auto Rs.60/- we went to eat famous Paradise biryani and again by auto Rs 180/- to Charminar and Zoo.

Charminar is the land mark of Hyderabad, located in heart of the old city and a magnificent effice built by Mohd.Quli Qutub Shah in 1591. The monument has 4 minarets each 53 mtr high. The place is very crowded through out the day. For ladies shopping, Lad bazar is famous here. We spent just 10-15 minutes at Charminar because we want to go to Zoological Park, by same auto we reached zoo at 4.10 PM but after reaching at zoo, we came to know that ticket distribution windows open till 4 PM, we got disappointed and came back to hotel by auto at Rs 160/-

Day 3

On 15th October it was Dusshera, at 10 AM we had breakfast, coffe at nearby hotel and then went to zoo by auto Rs.160/- Entry ticket is Rs 75/- Mobile phones are allowed inside but for camera ticket is Rs.600/- There are electric cars to go around the zoo which stops at 5 stops and collect us after some time intervals. Ticket is Rs.100/-for electric car. You can walk all along. Also you can enjoy toy train ride at Rs. 20 /-.

Nehru Zoological Park is a great place for kids and elders as well. It is one of the most visited destinations in Hyderabad, The Nehru Zoological Park was setup in 1959 has a collection of all types of Birds, Animal Species, reptiles spread over 300 acres. It is well maintained Zoological Park. Hats off to the care takers of this zoo. The Lion Safari Park is the first of its kind in South Asia. Inside the Zoo there is a Museum of Natural History.

Other top attractions of Hyderabad are Ramoji Film City, Chowmohalla, snow World, Mecca Masjid, NTR Garden, Gowalkonda fort.

Then at 2 PM we came to hotel by auto at Rs.160/- , packed our bags, leaved hotel as our check out time is 2.10 PM, then had rice plate at nearby hotel and strated for Solapur and reached by 10.30 PM after having dinner. Checked in hotel Vikas, Solapur.
