Hi everyone ! So I thought that I’ll blog my thoughts about this crucial quarantine period that The world and India is facing currently.

I really wanted to visit Italy this time and I had made an entire itinerary and had looked out for tickets for the month of May. But the day I was about to book the news about Corona started spreading and I thankfully did not book my tickets and thought about waiting for a week more.

As I waited I realised that it had spread to Middle East , Italy and God knows where else. I was very heart broken but I thought this is controllable so I started looking out for going to Mauritius instead.

But as days progressed I realised that it is multiplying heavily over the world and people are dying in huge numbers ! I finally decided to not go ahead with travelling this time and in no time it has now made its way to India.

As an active Tripoto reader and blogger I would like to from my end share some precautionary measures so that people realise how important it is to stay indoors for us right now.

1. Keep your hands Sanitised :

I and the community I stay in are constantly keeping ourselves sanitised by washing our hands and we have also made sure that the house keeping staff , watch men of the premises, our employees and delivery services are also always sanitised. We have installed various sanitisers all over the society compounds so that it is easily accessible and usable for all.

2. Keep drinking warm water :

Please keep drinking warm water as it is very important to keep drinking water anyways because

A) It is summer time and body needs water

B) drinking warm water kills the bacteria present in the throat and will not make you susceptible to bacterial infections.

3. Keep having green leafy vegetables and fruits :

Having green vegetables and fruit will not only improve your immunity but also help you get fit and in form. You will get a lot of vitamins which will definitely make you feel lighter and your body will have enough strength to fight diseases. Do not order food from out and avoid having junk food at all costs.

4. Groceries and medicines stock up :

Do not buy excessive masks and don’t stock up on groceries as the government is making sure that it is available to all. Even the pharmacy shops are open ! So please do not stock up but do keep a little more groceries than you usually do so that just in case of closure it will be helpful and you won’t run out. Remember it should be just enough.

5. Social distancing :

Practice isolation and social distancing strictly. I know you all must have heard it a thousand time’s by now but trust me I have seen people become irresponsible towards this cause. I am seeing educated people turning blind eye to how this can spread so quickly even before we all realise. It is important that we stay indoors and use this time to be with our families. You can practice yoga , you can exercise well , you can work on some skill that you wanted because you got this break to be with yourself so practice it.

Last but not the least I request you to support the Government and support each other so that we all can prevent spreading of this deadly disease. We do not want this to kill our loved ones as we do not have the facilities yet to accommodate the kind of population in to the hospitals and the numbers we have in India are really huge.

Please take this very seriously as we want things to be back to normal. We want to go out safely, we want businesses to run smoothly again and we want our economy grow and for that if it takes for you to stay indoors for some time THEN YOU SHOULD AND YOU MUST.
