Day 1

For a foodie, weekend calls for experimenting and striking off things from your bucket list.

So! this time, we as a family headed to Rustoms Parsi Bhonu. As the name suggests, this place is a host to some authentic Parsi food. Classic decor, 80s music and hospitable staff added to the experience.

Crisp Sabudana Fritters with Mint Chutney was a nice way to start off.

Starting with Chicken Frill Cutlets and Kolmi Fry (Prawns), these were delectable and cooked to perfection. The homemade raspberry soda aptly complemented the food... and it not being excessively sweet was such a relief!

Mutton Dhansak, a signature Parsi Dish was the choice for main course and it was delicious!!! Being a combination of spiced masala dal with mutton coupled with caramelized rice and kebabs, it was a complete meal.

Without a second thought, my meal had to come to a close with coffee. Americano made with In-house freshly grounded coffee, was indeed blissful.

Looking forward to my visit here, yet again, to try out some more mouth watering dishes.

Rustom's - Parsi Bhonu kudos!
