The first thing that comes to one's mind when talking about Goa is 'beaches, beaches everywhere'. Goa is popular because of its sandy beaches. There are so many beaches in Goa that if you don't like one, there's always another option. Apart from its beaches, Goa is famous for its Churches and world heritage architecture. The best time to visit Goa is from November to January as during these months, one could enjoy the Christmas and New Year celebration. It is best to rent a room near Calangute beach as most of the travelers go there. The beach is 15 minutes away from the area where all the hotels are located.

Calangute Beach is the most popular beach of Goa which draws huge crowds. If you enjoy swimming, this is the perfect beach for it. Many water sports too can be enjoyed here.

Quiet environment, rocks on the coast and the views of calm sea describe this beach the best. Also, Anjuna Beach is famous for its Wednesday Hippy flea market.

Situated just opposite of Se Cathedral in Old Goa, it's a grand old church of Goa which can't be missed. The earthly remains of St. Francis Xavier are kept here.

It's a seventeenth century Portugeuse Fort on Sinquerim Beach. It was built for clean water storage so that big ships could fill clean drinking water. That's why the fort is named Fort Aguada, 'Aguada' meaning water.
