We haveSofitel krabi- the French way.

The royal french porch style entrance definitely took my breath away ,and my mind had fixated on the fact of a royal stay with some royal treatment .
We procured a deal from Luxury escapes and thus headed to stay at this wonderful serene hotel . They checked us into the old wing ,the room perfect , pool view perfect but Aircon had no system of cooling . On repeated requests and attempts and the staff not extremely helpful didn't come to our aid . At 2 am in the night i was there writing an email to the Sofitel admin to kindly rectify the ac but to my surprise the night manager only comes to tell me to get my daughter checked at a doctor because the heat was making her sweat . The next morning was a new day ,the wonderful pool and even an even more wonderful visit from the weekend manager of the hotel Vincent ,who was troubled by the email time and immediately helped us look for the correct room , he offered us a suite which we didn't want ,all we wanted was an Aircon to keep the thailand heat away. If the entire staff were to function like Vincent then Sofitel is definately the French way to stay . A must visit ,Sofitelkrabi only if you have a manager like Vincent and assisstant like Paul on duty and lots to do for your kids ,they are kept busy the entire day .
