On day one we reached Nainital around 8 Am, after reaching Nainital we searched for hotels because we haven't done bookings and because of the rush we also faced some issues in searching for budget hotels, Dharamshala was also full.
But luckily we got 1 room that cost Rs. 1500 for 4 people, after freshen up we had our breakfast near Dharamshala that cost around Rs. 250.
After that, we left for the day tour of the Nainital and Naina Peak trek.
Firstly, we enjoyed the boating ride at Naina lake and visited the Naina Devi temple.
The cost of Boating ride is Rs. 210 per person
Then we left for the Trek to Naina Peak, we've done the whole Trek by foot, from our hotel to Naina Peak 😅 , but you can take a taxi they drop you at trekking point than you have to trek 3km to reach on top of the Naina Peak.
It takes you around 3 hours to reach the top from the trekking point. On our return, we had some snacks and tea in mountains 😋
We came back around 6 Pm then we've done shopping on mall road and stayed at Naina lake for a while, the night view was so peaceful and mesmerizing. 😌
After taking a rest, we had our dinner which cost around Rs. 450 for 4 people at mall road and then we went back to the hotel.
This is the end of our day 1 in Nainital.

For day 2 we've rented two Scooty to visit Mukteshwar temple which is 47 Km from Nainital.
Rent of 1 Scooty was Rs. 700 because of Peak season it was a bit high normally the cost start from Rs. 500.
After freshen up and breakfast we filled petrol of Rs. 295 and left for Mukteshwar.
Note: If you're renting a Scooty or Bike then it's a humble request to please keep the speed slow between 30-40 in mountains. It's risky to drive at high speed.
We've reached Mukteshwar around 12:30 Pm. There were a small Trek around 1km to reach at temple. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the temple and had ice cream 😋😋
Then we get back to Nainital, on the way back we also visited Bhimtal. Bhimtal is one of the famous lake cities in Kumaon region. Older than Nainital city, Bhimtal is named after the majestic character of Mahabharata, Bhima. You can also enjoy the boating ride at Bhimtal lake.
We've reached Nainital around 5 Pm then deposited Scooty and take a bus to way back return to our home.
This is all about my Short trip to Nainital. We've really enjoyed a lot, especially the Scooty ride from Nainital to Mukteshwar.
