केदारनाथ फिर से !!!

After getting locked for more than 6 months finally I got the opportunity to travel. I made a lot of plans during last one month but no one turns to be materialized.

Finally I got the opportunity to visit kedarnath once again. Yes; it's once again as I visited Kedarnath in 2018 too.

Most common things among both trips is that at both time I am at temple as on 20th October and first snowfall of the season also falls on 20th October both times.

My journey beings from my hometown Panipat as on 17th October at 04:00PM. I board Haryana Roadways bus to reach Haridwar.
Its second day after lockdown that inter state buses started.
I reached Haridwar by 09:00PM; took a room near the bus stand as I have to board bus for kedarnath from bus stand in early morning.

Next morning I wake-up around 03:30AM; reached bus stand by 04:30AM; and luckily got seat in second bus which departed at 05:30AM.

Routes to Kedarnath has been diverted due to work on all weather road which turns to be extra 50KM to be covered by bus; but it also gives me the opportunity to see india most advanced Tehri Dam and Tehri Lake.

The views of Tehri Dam are mesmerizing.

Our bus is full of solo travelers except 2 families. so, we made a lot of fun throughout the journey.

We reached Sonprayag by 06:00PM. After getting registered at Sonprayag I board taxi for Gaurikund.

At Gaurikund I took room with two others solo travelers who are traveling solo for the first time. They are from my neighborhood cities; one is from Karnal and another one is form Bhiwani.

After roaming for sometime in local market we took our dinner and went for sleep.

We started trek to temple at 05:30AM; and reached to temple at different timings.
Throughout out the way I met my co passengers with whom I travelled from Haridwar to Sonprayag.
This time I enjoyed the nature beauty much and clicked less pictures.
I reached base camp around 2PM while one of my room mate already reached there.

We enquired about rooms there for night stay in valley as last time I did not attend evening aarti.

Finally we took 2 beds in GMVN sharing huts. I think GMVN provides one of the best facilities there.
GMVN provide accommodation at 4-5 places in kedar Valley.
We stayed at Swargrohinj Cottage; next to halipad and near Annpurna Rasoi.

Then one more person joined us there.

After relaxing and taking shower we went for Evening aarti.
We took lots of pictures before aarti.

Its impossible to define the vibes during the aarti as it feels like that everything and everyone is chanting Shiv Shiv.
That moments are unforgettable and enough reason to go one more time.

After aarti we took dinner form Annpurna Rasoi. It provide you good quality food. Prices is lil bit High but quality justified the price.

Nigth in valley is very cold as temperature turns negative.

Next morning we went for Darshan. We got our turn for Darshan within an hour and that Darshan fill our hearts with joy.

After darshan we took breakfast and roamed in velly for next 2-3 hours.

We started our trek to Gaurikund around 10.00AM and I reached Gaurikund by 04:30PM.

I took my bags from the hotel and reached Sonprayag by 05:30PM.

At Sonprayag I shared room with another solo traveler who is from mine hometown Panipat.

After placing my bags in room I made arrangements for bus to Haridwar.
Next morning I took bus for Haridwar and my roommate started his trek for Kedarnath temple.

Back journey was also wonderful as I got the company of some amazing peoples.

In this way a wonderful trip is over with never ending memories.

I wish this Carona epidemic will go from our lives as soon as possible; people will stop fighting in the name of religions and start reading their religious books.

Its been three years of traveling; and what I learnt is that local peoples are mostly good; and this world is a beautiful place to live except the world created by politicians for their ambitions and show by media for their businesses.
