Day 1

Bangalore once used to have so many lakes but due to encroachments the lakes have reduced slowly. Madiwal lake is one such lake which is protected from being encroached.

To reach this Lake it is very easy. After crossing Silk board towards Jayadeva side you find the First signal (i.e AXA Building).Their you need to take a left to reach this lake. You will see the entrance of the lake after 2 Kms in the left side.

The park timings are from 5 AM to 6.30 PM.Ample parking space available for Cars and Bikes.

The lake spreads over 270 acres with an island with bamboo bushes at the centre which attracts rare birds. I have come across "Indian Pond Heron bird".Their is a beautiful park with a nice children's play area.

There is boating facility (Peddling boats are available) in the evenings.Their are benches and chairs to sit and relax. It is a good place to relax yourself and have a good time.
