Me and my roommate wanted a small break so we planned for a getaway to sakaleshpur. We stayed at a resort called Motorcycle Diaries in sakaleshpur which included food and accommodation. We had a private bonfire just outside our room. The food was amazing and the best part of the food was it was home made and nothing junk. We started our journey from Bangalore. It was low budget trip so we took a Karnataka Sarige bus from Bangalore. We got down at a place called ballupet and we were picked up from there. From there we had been to a small Hill top which had a magnificent view. We reached the resort around 3 pm and had a wonderful lunch. We rested for sometime and then went for a walk in the coffee estate. After a walk, we had coffee and spent some time the common sitting area which had small drawings on the walls with neon colors. At night we spent time in front of bonfire and it was drizzling and it felt so relaxing
After a peaceful sleep, next day we visited some seneric places round ( nemavati river, bisle ghat) and then we visited kukke subramanya temple. We we're lucky enough to get a free direct dharshana and witness the mahamangalarti. We traveled back to our resort and packed out bags and with lots of memories returned to Bangalore.
