Are you from Bangalore? Do you want to spend one day in a jungle? Do you want to spend less time driving and spend more time at the destination? Do you want to stay in a place far away from city noise? I would say you must try for a trip to Bheemeshwari Adventure and Nature Camp.
We have visited Bheemeshwari Adventure and Nature Camp on a weekend trip and it was an awesome experience and we have enjoyed the trip a lot.
We started from Whitefield, Bangalore at 9 am. We took the route Varthur Road -> Electronic City Flyover -> Nice Road -> Kanakapura Road -> Bheemeshwari. The road was in very good condition and you can surely enjoy the driving specially while entering Bheemeshwari. We reached the resort at 12.45 noon.
We have booked the cottage which is near to the resort entrance and in front of Cauvery River. It was a nice clean room with one Double and one single bed. We kept our luggage and went for lunch in their Golghar.
Food tasted homely. Once we finished the lunch we went to Adventure zone. They have Zip line,Burma loops,parallel walk,cat walk, elephant foot walk etc, however we did not go for that and spend time there for some time. Then we went near the Cauvery river. The view was awesome. The package includes coracle rides. They took the guests for coracle rides and you can see crocodiles swimming in the river. We spent a good time river side till sunset and then went back to the room.
In the evening they have arranged bonfire and snacks. It was a great experience to have this bonfire in the middle of a jungle. After that we went for dinner and went back to room post that. With different sounds from insects, birds and some animals it totally made a different atmosphere from the one we live in daily
Next day morning it was a trekking time. They were taking us to the top of a nearby hill where there is a watch tower. I was a bit worried as it was my 6 year son's first trek, but surprisingly he and I were the first ones to reach the watching tower. It was a very cloudy day so unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the view much but the trekking, watching deer, and peacock was something very special.
After we came back to the resort we freshed up, had breakfast, took some more photos and checked out around 11am.
