#TripotoTakeMeToSandakphu
Bhutan is a beautiful place to visit. The best part is Indians do not need a passport to visit the place and no visa. So pack your bags and get moving !
We started our trip at new jalpaiguri where our driver was waiting for us to take us to phuentsholing which is where you get the permit for moving ahead.
After getting the permit (which took about an hour ) we moved ahead to Paro which took us around 6 hours to reach.Checked into our hotel and rested.
The day started with a compulsory visit to the tigers nest monastery. You do not want to miss this!one look at the photo and you will know why.It takes good 3-4 hours of trekking to reach on top.But totally worth the pain.
Keep only tigers nest for the day and some local sightseeing.
Next moved on to Punakha. For this you need to take permit at thimphu. Again not more than hour. Attractions include the Dzong and the suspension bridge. We came back to thimphu on the same day.
We returned back to paro and decided to check out the chelela pass.Beautiful place covered with prayer flags.
