If you want tot visit a spiritual place then go for Banaras or Rishikesh. You will get interact with so many lovely people and will be able to relax your body and soul for sure. A variety of Foods and Drinks in Banaras will give you ever lasting taste. Bells of Temples in the morning will soothe your mind. The hostels at both the cities are pretty cheat and they are close to Ghats\travel spots. Moreover if you looking for Some wide open calm places then go for Himachal or Uttarakhand.
