We were a group of 6 people, went for a friend's Bachelor's!
We travelled from Gwalior via Indore as Flights from Indore were cheaper and better in terms of time.
We reached Goa at the time of Standard check-in and went straight to the Villa. To reach the villa, we hired a prepaid cab from the airport which was reasonable enough. If you're traveling solo or on a budget I'll suggest to take the bus/public transport that is way cheaper and alot convenient.
After reaching the villa the first thing we did was the first thing one would do in Goa! Get some beers! We were blessed to have a brewery right next to the place we stayed.
We all got a little tipsy by the evening and then decided to relax for the day as it was just the day 1 and we had to warm up and acclimatize for the parties lined up!
So to chill and have a relaxing evening, We went to one of the Shacks at Baga Beach as it was the closest to our resort. It was a full moon night and surprisingly some good songs were playing at the shack. With good food and cheap beers and great people, we just sat there till 4, after around 2 I guess there was no more music or noise. Just the breeze and the waves, and calmness. Three of us sleeping, one lost, and two of us just standing at the shore, quiet. With a bud.

We came back from the beach around 5, the day had already started. Since we had paid for the breakfast we had to have it, just that instead of a bed tea people were having bed beers. A tipsy start to the day is what I'd say.
After a pretty good breakfast we decided to head for some sightseeing and do some touristy stuff just for the ritual and for the sake of getting some stories.
So we rented three Activas for six people and headed to the Aguada fort around 11 am. Believe me, it was hot and humid during that time and one has to stay hydrated all the time else it'll be harsh.
The fort was not really something like the Forts of North India or should I say like the ones Mughals built but it was more of a lighthouse having a boundary wall. It is okay to visit if you've plenty of time and if you're willing to take a ride but if you don't visit it you'll not miss out on anything very special. The view of the sea sure was amazing from the fort but then c'mon, in Goa you can always see the sea from anywhere and everywhere.
After the Fort, we went for lunch at a restaurant named Southi that was located at the candolim road.
It was a fine dine and believe me it was absolutely Ambrosial. The service and the food and the presentation was just totally worth every single rupee. It was not any mainstream south indian resto but had brilliant cuisines for all kinds of taste buds. The Goan curry and the Konkan prawns are must haves and for the drinks. I'd recommend martini with grape juice and cranberry for the bonds, and for someone who prefers whiskeys, well you know what to have and not have.
After eating like Garfield, a few of us wanted to sleep and hence we went to the shacks again, the sea is always soothjng you sea.
After the sundowner, we went to the villa, got ready for the big night and got all warmed up for the party... One last thing to have was a fresh brewed beer so that we could feel a lil less tipsy and refreshing.. We chose to head to the brewery before going for the final destination. Absolutely Lit was the feeling.
The party destination for the night was curlies. Anjuna. We reached Curlies around 1130 pm and sat at the beach for a while and had the omelettes and Anda pav and Maggie at the beachside.. although we ate all this outside the pub only coz we were hungry and didn't intend to but I'll recommend all to eat out and then go party as it saves a lot of money as well as the taste of food is better outside.
It was a beautiful full moon night and trance was all over the place, all I remember is we were there till 4 am and I don't remember anything that happened there.
After getting out from Curlies, we went to Baga Beach around 430 am and it was the best feeling! All of us happy high cracking jokes and laughing like crazies. There was no music no people and no crowd. Only the six of us and Laundo waali bakchodi.
I can't express it in words but that hour there was probably the dawn of justice!
The next day was kinda chilled out as we came back from the beach at 6. Some of us chose to sleep and some chose to take a dip in the pool. A lazy day one would say. Around sunset me and a friend headed to the beach to capture one and it was amazing. Since it was our last evening in Goa, some good instagrammable pictures were needed at the beach and I guess I got some. We did party like crazies as this was the last night but I won't write it here coz what happens in Goa stays in Goa.
Day 4 was the check out ! Time to say Chow to the amazing food, beautiful places, diverse culture and cheap beer.
We could manage to gain some absolutely fantastic memories from the trip and I'm sure we'll be able to cherish the same in the coming time. We all had our last lunch at a place in Saligao. Themed as a Turkish bistro. The food and the ambiance added to our trip just like a cherry on the cake.
This article is probably just half of what we accomplished but as the title says, the other half is kinda hard to remember.
