And we are back with our River series..... This time it is River Mahi...In her untamed form...
We parked our car way before the river bank and walked along with the tobacco farms and from the villages (around 3 km) and reached there...The lush green tobacco farms were giving us company all the way, with leaves shining brightly in warm sunlight and dancing softly in the gentle breeze...The experience of walking from the villages is always surreal as we are always amazed by their simplicity and their positivity. The way they are always eager to help, the way they always rerun your smile, innocent kids to shy women...They make us more grounded.

And then we saw her...She is nothing like Sindhrot check dam or Kotna beach... but here she is with shallow water and turbulent form among the rocks. She is playful here, bouncing among the rocks, inviting us and challenging us to play with her, to take a dip in her...U can easily spend an hour or two in the lap of Mother Nature here.
When u reach u need to cross the river, and you will reach a small island. The river on the other side is more beautiful...I mean who are we to judge her beauty but that place is more secluded... and how can we lose a chance of walking in the river with cold water giving calmness to our entire body and rocks and pebbles giving us nature pedicure...
Rasulpur is a very famous place so it can be crowded.. and the crowd again as we always say is a subjective thing. U can anyway find your cozy corner on the rice bank...among the rocks, besides the river and under the clouds.. what else do we want??
So that's it..... A short and sweet yet memorable trip from our side.....But these little trips are giving us strength for the entire week... What about you? what's your little secret?
