One achievement which i made in 2019 was Scuba Diving. I have always been a Mountain Person, but was very curious to go in the ocean swim and try scuba diving. My friends had already done Scuba diving and they were certified divers. I always had fear of swimming in ocean and little water phobia. Finally we had planned a new years Trip to Srilanaka and had booked my Padi Open water Course in Dive for you Resort at Hikkaduwa beach in Srilanaka. The day we reached Srilanaka we couldn't go for dive as we had just landed and as per rules we cannot go for dive the same day we had landed and the day you will be flying. So the next day I started with my training, the trainer briefed me about the uses of all the equipment and then later we went for training in a swimming pool. First time i had wore the air source and went underwater due to fear and panic i came out as was not able to breathe through the air source. The trainer was so good he helped me alot in basic training and then after 1 hour of training we went for my 1st Dive. While diving when i was on the boat I was scared and even thought of delaying the dive but my trainer motivated me alot and when i Jumped in the ocean and went underwater I got panic and came out then the trainer hold my inflator and took me down and made me calm. After few mins i was able to breathe properly with all the equipment and the fear of water was already gone. I had passed all my course test which my trainer had explained me. And then we were just exploring around it was entirely a different world underwater. Scuba with all the fishes coral and everything was just amazing. It was wonderful experience and as per my course I had 4 dives after completing them I also did one Padi deep Dive which was 33m deep and next day again i Did one more dive on the new years.So finally I did something of which I was scared and it was an big achievement for me.
