Preface :-In June 2008 we made our Kedar Badri tour and made a strong promise to ourselves that “no more trip this year”. During September I was just reading a travel magazine and there I saw an article on Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh and was mesmerized to read article. Ultimately our determination of not to make a trip in that year could not stand strong against the beauty of Kinnaur. Wish was made but it was difficult to get a ticket of Kalka mail during Puja holidays as in that year Durga Puja was in the first week of October. Somehow I could manage tickets of Kalka Mail and return ticket I made from Chandigarh (Chandigarh quota of Kalka Mail). But our tickets were such that our journey at Kinnaur was restricted to 4 night stay plan only. So I had to make the plan very carefully.
