A small scenic trail from KMVN (Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam) restaurant goes towards this beautiful waterfall. The place can also be accessed from Kalamuni Pass. This is a must visit place if you are planning a road trip to Munsiyari. Birthi Falls is located close to KMVN tourist house. So you can stay at this property under a minimal budget. Road: This place is well-connected by road and lies at 32km from Munsiyari. You can take a cab or private vehicle to reach here.

Best time to visit

Noori Chamb (as said in local dialect) was named after the famous Mughal Queen Noor Jehan when her husband Mughal Emperor Jahangir was awestruck by the beauty of this waterfall. It is believed that both king and queen used to spend quality time in this stunning waterfall. Situated in the heavenly state of Kashmir, this high altitude waterfall in the Himalayas offers much-needed solitude. Noori Chamb waterfall is positioned in between Chandimarh and Behramgala on Mughal Road. The waterfall originates from Luksar and Kolsar lakes.

How to get there

Road: Reach this place by hiring a cab or private vehicle. It is 8KM from Buffliaz and 38KM from Pir Ki Gali.

Air: Nearest airport is at Srinagar. Take a private cab to visit this waterfall.

Rail: Nearest rail head is at Anantnag and Srinagar. Take a private cab to visit this waterfall.

Best time to visit

Between months of March and October. During Winters (November-February), the weather is extremely cold.

Altitude- 2,501 m

Situated en route Rohtang Pass on the scenic Leh-Manali highway, Rahala Falls treats travellers with breathtaking natural beauty.
