Camel ride with Moustache Escapes

My journey to Jaisalmer was somewhat unique. To me the word Jaisalmer now means Moustache Jaisalmer.  I was provided with the best experience that I could ever have in a hostel. It was luxury to certain extent. On my arrival in Jaisalmer, I was provided with a pickup(I had to pay for the pickup thought which is ok considering I had booked a dorm for INR 299, cant expect to be provided for free pickups in that price). As soon as I reached Moustache, I was greeted by Mr. Pradeep Vyas a rather impressive personality. He offered me a free tea(Yes you can get as many as you like free tea's with Moustache Jaisalmer, while chatting with Pradeep), he spend time with each guest at the property and make sure that you get the best of the experience.

Moustache Jaisalmer is conveniently located right outside the Fort and has a magnificent view of the Fort. The rooftop offers great views of the fort as well as surrounding the city. It also has ample parking space for those who plan to come by car.  The property has a garden outside. Wow !! This is luxury in Jaisalmer.  They operate a small cafe and restaurant within the property and the food is decent. You can order for chilled beer and enjoy the beers at the rooftop along with some good starters. The fun fact about the stay was it was a Haveli that has been converted into a hostel, as told by the staff. The property also has a well that is more than 400 years old. Now thats what I call a luxury. Stay with the monuments itself.

Well Jaisalmer is famous for its Desert Safari's and the sand dunes. Moustache offers a one of its kind non-commercial Desert Safari.  Its a unique experience in itself as, its starts with visiting villages, meeting the village lifestyle and end up in the Desert National Park. The dunes at Moustache are located inside Desert National Park. You will have a bright changes of viewing desert rabbits, deers etc. The best part about the safari is the night sky. They offer sleeping under the stars and tent stays at the same price. I would recommend you to stay under the stars. Rest I leave it to you to experience.
